There are plenty of cats in Greece, and this one caught my eye while sitting on a ledge in front of some ancient Greek ruins.
The ruins have stood there through centuries of history, while the cat was simply getting on with an ordinary afternoon of grooming itself.
I found the contrast hilarious. All that history behind it, all those stories and civilizations, and this cat couldn't care less. It was busy being a cat.
I don't think the cat knows anything about the ruins. And honestly, I don't think it needs to.
Sometimes the best thing in a scene is the thing that has absolutely no idea how significant its surroundings are supposed to be.
