I’m Amira :) A painter based in Seattle, Washington, working primarily in acrylics.

Most of my work is an ode to Italy. The side streets of Bosa, the harbor at Oritigia, a Roman market at noon, the particular quality of Mediterranean light in the hour before dinner. I’ve been trying to paint the way Italy feels, not just the way it looks. And so far, I have yet to run out of material!

When I’m not painting Italy, I’m painting the feeling of gathering. The dinner party mid-chaos. The glass that’s nearly empty. The meal that nobody wants to end.

To me, art is not a brand. It is a diary.

Here you’ll find my original paintings, prints, cards, and information about my Paint-and-Sip classes across Seattle and Olympia, where I teach first-timers to paint something they’re actually proud of!

Commissions are open. If there’s a place you’ve been, a meal you remember, or a moment you don’t want to forget… I’d love to paint it for you.
