Ronda, Spain
Ronda is famous for its dramatic bridge and its history, including its bullring, but the bull statue was what really stayed with me.
My grandad has a house in Marbella, so I've visited southern Spain several times. I love the feeling of being somewhere with so much history, where the landscape and architecture seem to hold stories from centuries ago.
This particular bull struck me as noble. Strong, determined, and imposing without needing to do anything at all.
There was also a horse nearby looking thoroughly unimpressed and rather tired in the heat, which felt like a very different kind of character study.
But it was the bull I couldn't stop thinking about.
