14. Un Cappuccino Speciale
Florence, Italy
I used to be a barista at a specialty coffee shop for about two and a half years, and let's just say it turned me into a ridiculous coffee snob.
I've probably drunk thousands of cups of coffee in my life. I couldn't tell you where I had every single one, and I certainly couldn't claim that every cup was extraordinary.
But I remember this one.
I had it outside the church where members of the Medici family are buried, right near my hostel during my study-abroad trip in Florence. I can't even say it was the best cappuccino I've ever had. It was memorable because of where I was and what that moment meant to me.
Sometimes it's not about the coffee. It's about the morning you remember having it.
