Every time I visit my grandad in North Wales, my family and I make time for high tea at a wonderful scone shop in Llanrwst.
I love the ritual of it: sitting down together, having tea, and making an occasion out of something as simple as a cup and a scone. The china we used reminded me of the china I have from my grandmother, which made the moment feel especially familiar.
Some traditions don't need to be grand to become important. Sometimes they're just the things you look forward to doing with your family, again and again.
