11. Charcuterie for One
While painting this collection, I decided my snacks deserved a place in it, too.
This is a little charcuterie plate I made for myself: grapes, prosciutto, brie, and my cheese knife, all arranged on one of my grandmother's delicate blue willow plates.
My grandmother has since passed away, but I still use her plates every day. They're part of my everyday life, which makes them all the more special.
I love that something as ordinary as making myself a snack can hold a little piece of her, too. And naturally, if I'm going to make a charcuterie board, it might as well become a painting.
