It was midday in Alghero, and the sun was HOT. My boyfriend and I were walking along when I noticed a group of people sitting beneath umbrellas, tucked away from the direct sunlight.
The colors caught my eye immediately. There's something about umbrellas that I'm endlessly drawn to. Maybe it's the shapes, maybe it's the way they create little pockets of shade and life in an otherwise sun-drenched scene.
