05. Bistro 74
I believe this little scene comes from Rome, but what I remember most is the feeling of looking in from the street.
I love when a doorway or window gives you a glimpse into another world. Here, the warm lighting and deep, cave-like interior made me imagine the sort of wine cellar the Medici might have dined in. The sign, meanwhile, looked suspiciously new.
A historic-looking interior, a fresh sign, and plenty of wine. I couldn't resist.
I'm always drawn to these little invitations into spaces. You can be walking down the street, minding your own business, and suddenly find yourself wondering what it would be like to sit inside.
