06. French Flowers
Montpezat, France
I saw an elderly couple buying flowers at a market in France and immediately wanted to photograph them.
There was something so familiar and effortless about the way they were choosing the flowers. I remember thinking: how many times has this man bought his wife flowers over the years?
I don't know their story, of course. Maybe it was an anniversary, maybe it was just Tuesday. That's what I loved about the moment.
There was something quietly romantic about watching two people who seemed to know this little ritual by heart. I wanted to capture that feeling.
