07. They're Hydrangeas
Orvieto, Italy
I was in Orvieto when I saw a woman tending to her flower shop, walking back inside with a bouquet of white hydrangeas.
The flowers caught the light beautifully, and I remember being drawn to the simple act of watching her go about her day.
There's something romantic about seeing people doing what they do. Not posing, not performing, not even noticing that anyone is watching. Just a person at work, carrying flowers into a shop.
Sometimes the most beautiful moments are the ones that aren't trying to be beautiful at all.
