“Via del Carmine, Bosa”

Amira Elsokkary | 2026

12 × 12 | Acrylic on Canvas | $1,250

This piece comes from the quaint city of Bosa, Sardinia. A place where pastel buildings stack against each other like watercolors left to dry. Amira was drawn to the quiet details: the pop of turquoise chairs against sun-warmed walls, ivy creeping along the archway, and the delicate ironwork of the balconies above.

Look a little closer. The title comes from the street sign just to the right of the central door. Amira toyed with calling this piece “Self-Portrait” instead, and for good reason. Tucked into the reflection of that same door, beside a parked car, is Amira herself. The camera raised, capturing the moment that would become this painting

Now take a few steps back. In the colors of the buildings, the cream, red, and ivy green… you’ll find a quiet nod to the Italian flag, woven into the walls as naturally as if it had always been there.
