“Sunset Streets”

An impressionistic cityscape captures the evening descending on the streets of Istanbul. This painting is based on a photo my brother took during his time abroad in the Middle East. Inspired by our connection with our Egyptian heritage, I used impressionism to represent my connection to the Middle East. Having never been there myself, it is a blurry but bright and emotional connection.
