“Over the Water,
Under the Sun”

11 x 14, Acrylic on Canvas, $900

This painting was based on a photo that Amira took while in Venice, Italy. The only detail omitted from this piece is her grandfather’s balding head poking out from behind the goldolier.

This piece was particularly of interest to Amira because of the layers of color, the reflections in the water, and the columns hidden beneath the bridge on the right—a blend of vibrance, history, luxury, and heat in one canvas.
