Named for a small detail hidden in the painting. An advertisement for an Italian beer company, “Angelo Poretti,” established in 1877. This painting captures the daily life of a Roman neighborhood, known as Monti.

Hours went into crafting the details in the buildings, signage, and layering the background. This painting showcases Amira’s favorite parts of creating art. She enjoys using small brushes to add in details, and rewarding the viewers who spend a little extra time lingering and looking at the small touches. You might even notice the lights inside the restaurant, the items on the menu, or something else entirely.
